The course gives a better understanding of the general principles of the European Security System and describes the main issues of its development in European countries. It provides an opportunity
to familiarize Ukrainian students with the fundamental principles and the main aspects of European Security and Hybrid Threats Studies.
In addition, this course gives a comprehension of principles and conceptions of European cooperation in the sphere of security. The knowledge and skills that are received are useful for participating in international projects and European educational programmes and building cooperation with European partners.

The course gives a strong understanding for Ukrainian students of the multi-disciplinary field of research in studying of EU’s security issues in times of hybrid threats. We will pay attention to the global challenges for the EU and its military, political, and social dimensions. Course provides vision of hybrid conflicts and hybrid wars. Teaching this course addresses issues of hybrid warfare, information attacks, modern-day aggression, terrorism and other security threats in Europe. Teachers will also try to model the biggest threats to the European security system and predict its future. Some topics will be dedicated to the conflicts of values in modern Europe as security matters. The received knowledge and skills are useful for effective analysis of the current situation in a global world, implementing the state politics in the sphere of security, establishing relations between the state and experts in security issues, and overcoming conflicts in multicultural societies.

The course will give a strong understanding to Ukrainian students of the multi-disciplinary field of research in studying self-regulation principles in learning and behavior under the hybrid threats conditions. We will pay attention to the global challenges to the psychological perception of self-regulation in the context of recognizing and countering hybrid threats. The course will provide a vision of the psychological characteristics of personal behaviour in conditions of hybrid conflicts and hybrid wars. Teaching this course will address the psychological aspects of the issues of hybrid warfare, information attacks, current aggression, and other security threats in Europe. The knowledge and skills received will be useful for effective psychological analysis of the current situation in the global world, realizing the psychological characteristics of personal behaviour and counteraction in conditions of insecurity and hybrid threats.
