Students of Ostroh Academy participated in a lecture on «EU Environmental Security»

On May 2, an online lecture on «EU Environmental Security» was held as part of the certificate program “European Security: Main Issues,” initiated within the framework of the Jean Monnet project «Self-Regulated Studies of Hybrid Threats and European Security» at the National University of Ostroh Academy.

The lecturer is Nataliia Konopka, PhD in Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Deputy Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations and National Security for the Quality of Education.

«In wartime, it is crucial for universities to have the opportunity to participate in European initiatives and grant activities. This enables students from Ukraine, including those from Ostroh Academy, to access leading practices, innovations, and opportunities for self-regulated learning»,
– said Nataliia Konopka.

The purpose of the certificate program «European Security: Main Issues» is to increase students’ awareness of the peculiarities of the European security system in the context of the approach of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.

The project of the direction JeanMonnet of Erasmus+ program «Self-Regulated Studies of Hybrid Threats and European Security» is aimed at promoting European principles of building a strong and secure order by using new forms and methods of communication and creating a clear vision of the European security system for target audiences.
